Here's a toolkit for dairy farmers written by women, for women ...“The Land of Milk & Money: Lessons Learned & Business Earned From Women in Dairy” is a guide to dairy farming written by women, for women.
“This book is the one I wanted to read 15 years ago when I was beginning my journey in the dairy goat world, as a young mom and as a small business owner,” co-author Abbe Turner writes in the book’s introduction. “It is a compilation of stories of challenge, success, unintended comedy, loss, joy, strength and much more shared by the community of Ohio women in dairy. It is a place where we can learn from and share with each other.”
The book was published thanks to a grant from North Central Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education.
