The Chesterhill Produce Auction is your go-to destination for fresh, local produce, as well as handmade wood products and livestock on special auction days (see our full calendar here). We know you’ll love the quality of produce, prices, and sense of community to be found at the Auction starting every Monday and Thursday at 4 PM. A buyer’s number can be obtained for free at the Auction’s front office. Please read the rules below carefully and contact us with any questions you have!

  1. Cash, approved checks, and credit cards accepted. There is a 3.5% charge on each debit/credit card payment.
  2. Buyer is to pay in full on day of auction.
  3. A buyer’s number must be obtained.
  4. Inspection of produce prior to purchase is the responsibility of the buyer.
  5. Buyer is responsible for produce after bid is accepted.
  6. Buyer agrees that Chesterhill Produce Auction serves as an agent of the seller only and is not responsible for accident, injury, or inferior products.
  7. No sale or resale of auction produce on auction property.
  8. Any adjustments for produce rejected must be transacted prior to produce leaving the Chesterhill Produce Auction.
  9. All produce will be sold in the quantity stated on the tag of that lot. We do not split lots.
  10. All children must be supervised. No pets on the auction floor. Smoking is prohibited.
  11. Produce is sold by volume not weight.
  12. Buyers are not permitted to consult or collude on bid prices.
  13. Requesting buyer’s number evidences the agreement of these terms and conditions.
